Mandatory Volunteer Background Checks
All volunteers must fill out a FISD Volunteer Background Check at the beginning of every school year. Those who filled out the form in previous years are required to log in and update a profile each year. FISD uses the App-Garden Volunteer Tracker to initiate a background check. You will be required to setup an App-Garden account to request the background check.
Once you have passed your background check and received the “Volunteer Application Approval” email, please forward this background check approval email to vpmembership@friscobandboosters.com, and “cc” volunteers@friscobandboosters.com – thank you!!
Mandatory Concessions Stand Volunteer Requirement
For those that plan to volunteer for any Concessions Stand in the upcoming school year, Frisco ISD mandates that each food service worker successfully complete an accredited Food Handler course in the state of Texas. Online courses are available, and the below ANSI-accredited (NEHA) or Texas Department of State Health Services (ServSafe) accredited courses will be accepted. Only one (1) Certification is required per person. Once certified, please email a copy of the certificate to vpmembership@friscobandboosters.com.
