Recycling

Please bring your ink cartridges and electronics to the band hall for recycling.  This is a no-brainer, passive way for us to earn money for the band boosters.  The plastic bin is tan-brown color and is located between the sets of double doors in the band hall.  Items to recycle include:
Ink jet cartridges (please no toner cartridges)
Cell phones
Lap tops
Digital cameras
iPods
MP3 players
 
The recycling program has been expanded to include:
GPS devices
Movie cameras
Radar detectors
Hand held games
Game consoles  


Bowl & Tag

We just wanted to let you know of an upcoming event for the band students. 
 
It will be Bowl n’ Tag at Main Event, to be held on Sunday, Feb. 21st from 6-9 p.m.  The cost will be $10 which includes:
                        1-hr Bowling
                        Bowling shoes & socks
                        $10 Game Card
                        1 game of Laser Tag
                        2 slices of Pizza and a med. Soft Drink
 
The remainder of the cost will be covered by the FHS Band Boosters
 
A sign-up sheet will be posted Monday, February 1st, on the Band Hall bulletin board.  Students will need to sign up and place their money in an envelope (labeled with their name and titled “Main Event”) no later than Friday, February, 12th. 
 
This should be a fun event for the students!

The photos taken for our band composite on October 17, 2009 are now on-line and ready for your viewing. To view the photos please visit Tim Sapp's web site at http://www.timsappphotography.com and click on proofing at the top of the page.  Enter "frisohsband" in the password field and press enter. (This password is case sensitive)

 

From there you will have the ability to choose from three galleries, Ladies, Gentlemen, and Color Guard.

 

Additionally, at the request of the Band Boosters Board, we are now offering package deals to the parents. They each offer a substantial savings over the cost of individual photos. At this time of year with Christmas so close, it could take 3 to 4 weeks for the photos to be delivered.

Photos in the band packages will only have basic editing, for full image editing to include complexion, stray hair, and scar removal you need to add "Full image Edit (Complexion, stray hair, scar removal)" to your order as an additional item.

 

The digital image is 500 pixels wide at 72 DPI.  It is the perfect size for being sent by email or being posted on a web page.
