Private Lessons

Through private lessons, students gain valuable one-on-one instruction from a professional musician on their instrument.  The goal of private lessons is to improve foundational skills and techniques related to Tone Production, Articulation, Rhythm, and Musical Expressiveness. Lessons include guidance on All-Region Etudes, Band Audition Music, Solos, and Ensemble Music.

At Frisco High School we encourage all Band students to take private lessons.

​We are very fortunate to offer students an incredible staff of private lessons teachers- they are listed below.  Parents may contact the teacher listed for their child’s instrument to set up weekly lessons. The lesson fee for FISD High School lessons is $24 per 30 minute lesson. During the school year, lessons may be scheduled during band class or before and after school.
